OK, this is another “non-Airstream travel” post, so I’ll be brief.  I sanded the road side today.  I discovered the bondo my dad found when he installed the hatch doors.  It seems my little boler was in a lane-change mishap or a tree jumped out when it was being parked.  I guess it won’t become a Rat Rod after all.

In the spring, I’ll remove the lights, water inlets, etc.  I don’t want to get in over my head this late in the season.
